The Bow Djangos

Who knew there would be so much interest in Gypsy Jazz Jammin? Our Nov.  3 evening at  Beatniq was literally hoppin' with jammers, dancers, singers and manouche enthusiasts alike. We even had some visitors from the coast.  Clarinet King CCC pronounced that never had he seen so many people there at a jam before!  Great - we were worried that not too many people would show up. We've hosted a jam or two in the past -  some stellar, and some less so, but usually among friends and familiars,  and always within the secure confines of 'Chez Tess'.  I have to admit to a bit of nerver-wrackedness in hosting a bunch of strangers off home turf! Nevertheless, it was a great success and so we look forward to doing more of the same in the New Year!

It was gratifying to see so many of the Thursday night crowd return again on Friday.  Thankfully there were a few seats available, but overall, another big night at the BeatNiq, and when the calendar opens up, we'll be back - Hope to see YOU there!
